Artist works to improve quality of life for people through microblading , paramedical tattooing

Microblading is a tattooing technique in which the artist uses a small tool with tiny needles rather than a traditional tattoo gun . The needles are used to manually draw delicate hair strokes while also depositing pigment under the skin to create semi-permanent , realistic-looking eyebrows .
elsea Hamersley never planned to go into the beauty industry . A self-described farm girl with a penchant for art and hands-on creativity , she recently found herself becoming a microblading and paramedical tattoo artist .

“ The more I learned about microblading , I realized it ’ s not about makeup ; it ’ s about the opposite ,” Hamersley said . “ You ’ re creating something that helps someone save time and boosts confidence . Some may say it ’ s just eyebrows , but it ’ s amazing what ‘ just eyebrows ’ can do for someone ’ s confidence .”
