What do you believe will be the biggest challenge to the generation of women behind you ?
There may be more opportunities for women in the future but there will still be a need to find some kind of work-life balance .
Describe a failure , what lesson you learned and how it made you stronger .
In the world of a nonprofit you write grants and enter in state and federal contracts . It is difficult when you start a new program and the grant comes to an end . It usually requires having to eliminate positions as well as requires you to find other resources for those who benefited from the program .
What advice would you give to young professional women ?
Find your focus and passion and build your team wisely . Continue to develop the skills and creativity you have to be successful .
What advice would you give your younger self in one sentence ?
Trust your decisions and appreciate the input of everyone on your team .
