YEARS IN BUSINESS : 3Director since 1988 . Children ’ s Theatre was established in 1936 .
WHY YOU CHOSE TO BE A DIRECTOR : Theatre has been a lifelong love of mine . I earned theatre degrees in acting and directing from Kansas Wesleyan University and the University of Kansas . Directing for Children ’ s Theatre allows me to incorporate those skills . My next production will be SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL Jr ., April 8-10 , at Woodrow Wilson .
GREATEST PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT : I have worked with hundreds of young thespians and helped them develop their skills in singing , acting , and dancing . These experiences , in addition to watching them gain confidence and make new friends , has brought me much personal joy .
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND PASSIONS : I was the Executive Director of Leadership Wabash Valley . I am also involved with Community Theatre and Memorial United Methodist Church .
