Wetlands reflection

I mages of the cottonwoods , sycamores and maples of a Parke County wetlands are reflected on the water by a December afternoon ’ s setting sun . Because this place sits below a wooded ridge , it often remains frozen until late winter rains bring turtles and peepers out of the mud .
