Our scenic campus sits on rolling hills on the east side of Terre Haute , Indiana , on U . S . 40 . It features the spectacular Mussallem Union , which has rooms available for public events and includes delicious meals prepared by Bon Appetit . Our campus also features a beautiful performing arts building , Hatfield Hall , where the community is invited to experience world-class performers such as the Russian National Ballet and other outstanding acts . A new academic building opened in summer 2021 and is home to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry , state-of-the-art chemistry labs , our new engineering design major , a food lab , design studios , flexible classrooms , collaborative workspaces and faculty innovation space . Historic Moench Hall recently underwent significant renovations and enhancements . Our combined Kremer and Branam innovation centers provide a hub for creative student activity and hands-on learning experiences , and our beautiful White Chapel , overlooking Speed Lake , is a perfect venue for weddings .
We compete in the Heartland Athletic Conference in Division III men ’ s and women ’ s varsity sports . Our teams feature excellent student athletes , who have included at least one Academic All-American for 37 consecutive years .
