The brand is the result
of the meeting between
Swann Amdeo & Steven Jacques, two young
French designers who
met in Paris before moving to London. Swann
graduated in Fashion
Design from Parisian
school LISAA - L’Institut
Supérieur des Arts Appliqués – in 2012. Then,
he interned at Peclers
Paris - a Styling agency - as a Women Stylist.
He assisted Jacquemus
for his AW14 col- lection
«La Piscine» as an Assitant Pattern Maker. Before coming to London,
Swann was working at
Le Printemps Haussmann as a Visual Merchandiser in the Luxury
department. In February
2014, he assisted stylist
Georgia
Pendleburry.
Steven started studying
Fashion Management at
Mod’Art International in
2013. During that year,
he interned at Damir
Doma as a Commercial
Assistant. He moved to
London in 2014 to complete his final year at
LCF and graduated last
July. He started assisting stylists such as Stevie Westgarth, Hanna
Kelifa and Jane How.
More re- cently, Steven
was working part-time
at Chanel in Har- rods
as a Sales Assitant.
Convinced that it is in diversity that you find balance, we are inspired by
the Western urban culture and the traditional
Muslim dress mainly
from Africa and the Middle East, because of our
heritage. As mixed-race
people, we grew up being confronted with different environments and
styles. We always had
to adapt and it made us
realise that clothes were
a means of expression.
We want to highlight the
wealth of our generation
and the fact that barriers don’t really exist
anymore. We have
