The last day here at World Economic gave way to a bittersweet start; although the delegates arrived with positive energy to develop the
current topic, they were all a bit disappointed to realize that today has been the last day here at GLC MUN X. The session started off with a
moderated caucus, in which the delegates shared their viewpoints on the global agricultural crisis. The debate was fairly animated, with
delegates such as the Minister of Agriculture of North Korea recommending for countries to not import food if the national agricultural
industry already has the ability to produce it in order to not produce additional competition for local farmers, and the CEO of BP helpfully
reminding the delegations present that the resolution of the crisis requires long-term commitment. The CEO of MONSANTO released a
press report, in which he expressed his concern for “the sustainability of farmers and countries” and his desire to buy the company of
UniLever for 46,000,000 euros in order to further develop his “social plan”. The majority of the
