Boxford sees a busy start to 2021
2021 has begun with a busy start for Boxford with lots of new machine builds going on at the Boxford HQ .
It ’ s great to see so many new commercial customers investing in Boxford equipment , such as their range of laser cutting and engraving machines . It ’ s also encouraging that Boxford are building new machines for customers in the education and training sector in the UK and around the world .
Boxford ’ s C02 laser cutting and engraving machines continue to be popular with customers within signage , personalisation , craft and design markets . The sheer number of materials which can be cut and engraved makes the machines a versatile and affordable solution , which can open up many opportunities for customers to diversify and produce a range of custom products .
Their A1HSPi fully enclosed Plasma Cutter is always an exciting build to watch come together . This particular machine , destined for a college in the North East of England is complete with a water table for fume and debris management , as well as a specialist filtered extraction system .
Boxford have lots of 160TCLi bench top training lathes in various stages of assembly , which will be delivered to customers in the Republic of Ireland , The Netherlands , Chile and Greece . All of their CNC machines are manufactured from their factory in Halifax , West Yorkshire .
Along with the Boxford CAD / CAM Design Tools software , their training lathes make learning the ropes of CNC programming , 3D component design and manufacture accessible to range of age levels and abilities .
