2. Now that you’re in Symmetry mode, increase the Mirror lines to 2
and adjust the position of the new mirror line to ensure the top and
bottom of the designs meet.
8. Now you have a frame you can add text to before sending it to the
engraver!
3. Finish editing your symmetrical design by clicking on the Finish
Editing Symmetry icon at the bottom of the screen and then click
Break Symmetry Link (center icon at the bottom of the page).
4. Next, with the design selected, it’s time to add a boundary by
visiting Objects>Shaping> Boundary.
5. With the boundary element selected, click on the Contour tool in
the toolbox. In the interactive property bar, set it to the outside, single
step with an offset of 4.0mm.
6. At this point, the Status bar should read Contour Group on Layer
1. From the Object menu, select Break Contour Group Apart and
delete the boundary line that was created.
7. The final step is to convert the contour line to a RGB red hairline so
it will be seen as a cut line by the engraver.
