Let’s Look Back ... and Look Forward ...
Over the years we have seen
some impressive products
and innovative solutions at
Trophex and Euro Trophex.
I have been looking back through our
archives and would like to share with you
some of my discoveries!
From trophies that stood out from the crowd,
unusual engravable products, new ranges that
were unveiled at the shows, through to bespoke
creations, new technology and fantastic side
lines that you could expand your business with.
In the next five digital issues of TEN
magazine I am going to show you all of
these and many more.
We will look back in time together at all of
the wonderful products and processes that
have graced the floor of Trophex and Euro
Trophex over the past few years.
We will also look forward. I will share with
you new products and processes that are
coming to your industry this year. I will bring
you a selection of new trophies and awards,
new glass and crystal, new medal ranges,
centres and plaques, and much more.
NOVA CHROME UK
Nova Chrome UK pride themselves on
quality and are dedicated to providing a
helpful, friendly, efficient and personal
service to each and every customer.
They are a family run business which began operating from their
mountain side family home in 1991. Their first step in to the print
industry began with printing systems capable of printing plates,
which nowadays is pretty common but back then it revolutionalised
personalised printing.
As time has moved on, Dye Sublimation really started to kick off in
terms of printable items available on the market, therefore so did the
Nova Chrome business. To keep up with the demand for sublimation
printing systems, they have moved premises three times! Each time
increasing their storage space, eventually leaving them at their
current residence in Mona Industrial Estate, Anglesey.
Nova Chrome’s extensive time in this business has given them the
expertise to put together systems and select substrates with which their
customers can produce high quality, vibrant end products.
Nova Chrome are continuously expanding their wide range of
printable products and equipment as this fast moving industry
continues to gather pace.
On display at Trophex 2019 Nova Chrome had a stunning range of
images which were created from their wide range of products and
services. They always bring a crowd to their stand through their visual
use of these images which encourages discussion between visitors and
their team.

One product from their range that caught my
eye were these beautiful platters that were on
display at Euro Trophex in Berlin last year.
The elegant design and simply crafted detail,
mounted on a wooden plaque of various
shapes, also had a clever centre piece that
could be engraved with the inscription of
your choice. This clever design meant that
only the centre needed to be placed within
the engraving machine rather than the
entire platter.
