Through addressing the strong, diverse female main characters with agency, consent, and female desire, and the feeling of“ otherness,” it is clear to see how a feminist approach was taken during the creation of the saga and the addition of these approaches have helped cultivate a thrilling blend of speculative fiction and romance that has captivated readers.
