This year, as we mark the 40th Anniversary of the reopening of St. Benedict’ s, several alumni and school benefactors were invited to speak to and to meet the students during a presentation at Conlin Auditorium and then in Group rooms talking about the importance of returning the favor and becoming a donor to the school. The guest speaker for the day was Dr. Nii Darko, MD, Class of 1996, who spoke about how his experience at St. Benedict’ s helped him to eventually become a successful physician. Other alumni met with students in their Group rooms to talk about the importance of becoming a donor to St. Benedict’ s. Later on in the school year, we listened to a presentation from recent SBP grads who are now in college, and heard their advice about how to prepare for college life.
