Digital Photography
Using a digital camera, the student will learn the creative process of composing and editing photographs. Practical photography will emphasize portrait photography, but also include sports / action photography and basic news photography. Students will write a daily critique of photographs( in online blog), and read a scholarly book on the history of photography. At the end of the course, each student will exhibit their best photographs at a Photo Exhibit in the cafeteria.
In addition, the students will capture photos of the other Sping Phase courses, to be able to document the activities at St. Benedict’ s during this time of the school year.( These photos appear in the following sections of this Telolog yearbook supplement.)
