Spring Phase 2013

Experiential education.
This is the goal of Spring Phase at St. Benedict’ s Prep, when a student is enrolled in one course for five weeks, learning for five to six hours each school day. This part of the school year is one of the most unique aspects of the SBP program, and students are always excited about this time of the year, and they finish their courses having achieved deep learning about the topic. At the end of the course, each project assembles a presentation that is shown to the whole student body in the auditorium. Here in this Spring Supplement of the Telolog yearbook, we show only a few of the projects that the students did this year.
In addition to the projects shown in the pages that follow, these courses were also available during Spring Phase 2013: The Civil War; Fit and Trim; Songwriting and Sequencing; Working Artist; Kayrix Literary Magazine; Dance Discovery; Competence 101; Live from the Hive Improv; Finance Clinic; Wars and Warriors
