John Foster is a Boro-born former radio presenter who is now a successful voiceover , presenter , event host , writer and media trainer .
Born and brought up in Beechwood , Middlesbrough , John has worked at various radio stations around the UK including Smooth , BBC Tees , 5 Live and before that , TFM and Magic . John has been the soundtrack to many landmark events on Teesside - from big cup finals to royal visits .
Since leaving the BBC in 2017 , John has worked as a freelance who boasts clients around the world - so you may hear a Teesside ‘ twang ’ in America , Australia or Croatia , amongst others !
John is married to BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Anna Foster and they live in West Yorkshire with their two children , Ben and Jessica .
