WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE?
We’ ve an award-winning apprenticeship scheme. In fact, more than 40 % of our workforce started their careers as apprentices.
But we have other roles too – roles for young graduates and entry-level positions where you can learn about a product and travel.
IS MECHANICAL ENGINEERING FOR GIRLS?
Absolutely. I did a machinist apprenticeship at TTE in the 1990s, so I’ m a big advocate of bringing girls into the business.
And we regularly give girls the chance to shadow me for the day to see what we do.
