WILDCATS OF KILK ENNY
Local folk music heroes the Wildcats of
Kilkenny are welcomed with open arms and
ears to Yarm.
The “fiddle-fuelled, punked-up” Irish
tunesmiths have played all over the world -
from Billingham to Beijing - since their first
gig packed out Egglescliffe Village Hall back
in 1991.
But this is a first visit to the Princess
Alexandra Auditorium as Mike McGrother
and company bring their Unplugged(ish)
show to town.

Billed as one of the corporate events of the
year and akin to Royal Ascot without the
horses, there’ll be a whole lot of shuckin’ and
jivin’ at this one.
