Welcome to the summer 2019 issue of Tees Life –
Teesside’s lifestyle magazine
I
t’s hard to believe that summer is already
here and we’re now enjoying warmer
weather and light nights! This latest
issue of Tees Life has 60 pages full of quality
lifestyle reading, including destinations in
our region to visit and things to do over the
summer months.
We’re proud to have been asked to supply
this issue of Tees Life magazine for the goody
bags for the annual North East Ladies Day
Lunch at Hardwick Hall on the afternoon of
Tuesday September 24. This successful lunch
raises funds for local grassroots charities and
organisations as well as being an enjoyable
day including a four-course lunch. Tickets
cost £48 each. Visit northeastladiesday.co.uk
for more details.
A date for your diary: The award-winning
national event, The Festival of Thrift, returns
to the wonderful woodland surroundings
of Kirkleatham for a joyful weekend on
September 14 and 15. It’s the go-to event
for anyone passionate about good living in
sustainable ways.

EATING OUT
You’ll also see in this issue that in addition
to one of our valued partners, Preston
Park Museum and Grounds, Stockton, we
also welcome Head of Steam Museum,
Darlington, and the National Museum of
the Royal Navy Hartlepool to Tees Life.
Once again, the Tees region has much to
be proud of with a variety of interesting
and educational museums, right on our
doorstep.
Also in this issue, you can discover how
small changes to your daily journeys can
make a big difference with Let’s Go Tees
Valley.
Don’t forget that I’d love to hear from
more Tees organisations who are interested
in raising their profiles through Tees Life.
Just get in touch and I’ll be happy to arrange
a meeting.
Enjoy Tees Life this summer – the next
issue comes out on October 18.
