Having recruited 15 new staff to its Teesside premises over the past 12 months, industrial sheeting and cladding experts Midas are celebrating a rebrand after achieving a turnover increase from £2.4 million to more than £4 million over the past two years. Formerly known as Midas Cladding Services, the 21-year-old business has transformed its image to reflect an established track record of delivering a first class service to an ever-increasing range of blue chip clients. Specialists at working in high risk environments, the Midas customer base includes prestigious clients such as SSI, Huntsman Tioxide, PD Ports, AV Dawson, ConocoPhilips, Sembcorp, Cleveland Potash, On a Roll and both Middlesbrough and Hartlepool councils. Managing director Martin Gilbey says the new company slogan, “Built on tradition”, accurately reflects what Midas is all about, having spent the last two decades perfecting a safety-focused approach. “Now we’ve found our niche.
