OPEN FOR BUSINESS
Ceremony marks launch
of new Scottish office
Welcome – Axiom staff and distinguished
guests at the opening ceremony.
A
sset integrity specialists
Axiom Engineering Associates
welcomed distinguished guests
for a ceremony to mark the official
opening of their new office in Scotland.
Based at Earls Court, Grangemouth, the
firm says the office is ideally situated within
the heart of a buoyant local process sector,
improving access to serve its increasing
client base across Scotland’s central belt.
Axiom directors Adam Potter and Rob
Johnson were joined by guests from a
range of industry backgrounds for the
official launch.
Officials from Falkirk Council’s Growth
and Investment Unit were joined by
the authority’s leader of administration,
Councillor Cecil Meiklejohn, who declared
the office officially open. Representatives
from Axiom’s Scottish-based clients were
also in attendance and presentations from
Axiom and Falkirk Council were followed by
a productive networking lunch.
This planned expansion coincides with
the appointment of regional manager Kevin
Murray, who joined the business during the
summer to focus on business development
and delivery in Scotland.
Murray said: “I am very proud to be part
of the official opening of Axiom’s new office
in Grangemouth. This has been a great
milestone for the business and to share this
with key stakeholders from industry and the
local economy is very satisfying, making for
an enjoyable day.
“With these premises now open, I
look forward to hosting more local clients
and partners to discuss collaboration and
ensure we can continue to make a positive
difference to the local process sector
through our new regional
offering.
“We have listened to
our clients in taking the
decision to make this
move and will continue to
be a responsive, client-
focused organisation,
set up to fully meet
the evolving needs of
the sector. With great
investment taking place in
the local infrastructure in
and around Grangemouth
and Falkirk, there is no
better time or place for us to be making this
move.
“It’s great to be open for business in
Scotland and as well as being part of an
exciting time for Grangemouth, we are also
ideally located for the further development
of our business nationally, across multiple
industry sectors.”
Managing director Potter added: “There
are so many people we would like to
thank who have been so important in our
continued success. We have come a long
way since we started back in 2003 and
would like to extend my sincerest thanks
to all the Axiom staff who have worked
extremely hard to get us where we are
today.
“Our clients have become our advocates
and we would like to thank them for their
ongoing trust in Axiom. Finally, I’d like to
thank all our guests who were able to share
this significant day with us. We have grown
to more than 50 employees and continue to
be ambitious.
“Opening a Scotland office underlines our
commitment to providing localised support
to our Scotland-based clients and potential
job creation in the area. We are confident
that as we continue to grow, investment in
our systems and people will ensure that we
continue to deliver integrity excellence.”
