The doors to the majestic venue were reopened following an extensive two-year facelift. Perhaps best known for its music and comedy programme, the venue also offers a unique setting for conferences and meetings in the heart of Middlesbrough, close to transport links and easily accessible by car. Middlesbrough Town Hall’s historically significant design combines gothic beauty with well considered, modern interiors, providing something special as a business venue. There are four rooms available for hire that cater to events large and small, from business breakfast meetings to large-scale conferences for up to 1,400 people. Catering packages are available from the Town Hall’s in-house café, the Carriageway, which offers responsibly sourced coffee and a selection of hot and cold menu options made using locally and ethically sourced ingredients. The Town Hall’s central location makes it the perfect venue if you have guests visiting from out of town, with three hotels and the major retail and leisure core of Middlesbrough all less than five minutes’ walk away.
