Drive - Imperial Recruitment Group
appoints around 1,000 people a year
into new positions.
New signings -
Imperial are now
working with
Middlesbrough FC.
The company is based, as its name
suggests, over three floors of the iconic
Imperial Building in the affluent Imperial
Quarter in Darlington.
It launched in 2005 as Imperial Workforce,
an employment agency focused on
providing businesses with high quality
people management solutions in a
personalised way, tailored to suit each
client’s needs.
Seeing a niche in the wider business
community, a sister company was formed
in 2016. Imperial Professionals was
designed to support businesses of all sizes
across core professional services.
Under the umbrella of Imperial
Recruitment Group, the two prove a force
to be reckoned with in the recruitment
industry, successfully forging relationships
with a diverse range of clients based across
our region.
“The business has gone from strength to
strength,” says director Jason D’Silva.
“The two arms of the business come
under the Imperial Recruitment Group
umbrella and join up to give us that
seamless full coverage across all sectors.
“We are very much part of the
community that we serve, and our core
values reflect this.”
Fellow directors Trish Dodsworth and
Anthony Antoniou agree.
“It was a conscious decision to couple
the two arms of the business and bring
them together,” says Trish. “It doesn’t
take anything away from either company;
indeed, it strengthens the Group. Between
them lies a wealth of experience and
knowledge that ensures those shared
core values, Imperial’s USP, remain at the
forefront of the business.”
The group works well with clients
and personnel across Teesside and the
North-East as well as enterprise level
organisations.
One of its biggest clients is
Middlesbrough-based SK Chilled Foods.
“We have many clients across all
sectors,” said Anthony. “We operate
nationally and internationally with a diverse
range of businesses, that stem from
relationships which have been forged
here in the North-East. This has led to us
supporting and serving various branch
networks throughout the country.”
This business is about to take on another
dimension.
The new Championship football season
will see Imperial Recruitment Group forge
a partnership with Middlesbrough Football
Club as one of its platinum sponsors in
an arrangement that will see their logo
displayed across hoardings and around the
ground at the Riverside Stadium, home of
the Boro.
Imperial have also been appointed by
MFC to supply its matchday hospitality and
concourse staff.
The buzz and energy of the club as
the fledgling season gets underway is
something that marries well with Imperial’s
philosophy.
Anthony tells us: “We are very much part
of the community that we serve, one of our
biggest clients is based in Middlesbrough
so the two together were our natural target
audience.
“We are big football fans and we want
to be part of their success. The partnership
means we’ll become MFC’s official
recruiting partner, supplying personnel
for concourse and hospitality areas, and
continue to be heavily involved in the
Teesside region.”
Exciting times are ahead for the group
which aims to cement its core values and
continue to grow.
Home is Darlington, that’s where the
directors feel the business sits well, and
the base from which they will continue its
development.
So, what’s in the future?
“We are extending both sides of the
business,” says Trish. “We’ve laid the
foundations, our plans now involve brand
development and forging new relationships
with like-minded businesses across our
region.”
To throw a few figures into the mix,
Imperial Recruitment Group appoints over
1,000 people into new employment every
year across all their operating sectors.
The positivity in the business community
across our region is one that the group is
passionate to take forward. Their mantra is
‘success through people’ – this is evident in
the culture and their operating style.
Exciting times are undoubtedly ahead for
all associated with Imperial Recruitment
Group.
