SHINE A LIGHT New publication to promote Tees Valley to the UK and beyond T he publishers of Tees Business are launching a new annual publication to promote the Tees region to the rest of the UK and beyond – with advertising opportunities now available. Middlesbrough-based Resolution Media and Publishing are launching This Is Tees Valley, with the first issue due to be published later this year. With an initial print run of 10,000, the high-quality publication will promote the businesses, investment opportunities, people, lifestyle and living spaces available in the Tees region. Supported by the Tees Valley Combined Authority and mayor Ben Houchen, This Is Tees Valley will be the ultimate print marketing tool for the Tees region. But it also gives individual businesses and organisations the opportunity to promote themselves to movers and shakers, business leaders, politicians and potential investors across the UK and beyond. This Is Tees Valley will launch with an impressive distribution across the UK, including the Tees Valley and wider North- East region. Tees Valley mayor Ben Houchen said: “The Tees Valley has so much to offer – from the biggest investment opportunity in the UK at the South Tees Development Corporation, the only mayoral development corporation outside of London, to expertise in the critical sectors of tomorrow, including biologics, precision engineering and materials and chemical processing. “We’re a great place to invest, work and live, with people and industry getting more for their money in a region that’s on the up. “We have to be unashamedly positive about our fantastic assets and opportunities and we have to pitch this to a wider world. If we don’t bang the drum for our region, no one else will. “With the launch of This Is Tees Valley, we have a great chance to come together to get our voices heard across the UK and shout about the game-changing projects happening here. “From offshore wind to hydrogen, digital to biologics, we’re leading the way. “This publication will show off our great companies, organisations and institutions, getting them in front of some of the country’s biggest investors, business leaders and decision-makers. “I look forward to seeing this magazine go from strength to strength.” Although exact circulation figures are still being finalised, of the initial 10,000 copies it’s envisaged 1,000 will be mailed direct to investors, politicians with business briefs and influencers. Around 2,000 copies will be circulated in the North-East region, while another 2,000 will go to our local businesses to take with them on business trips. Around half of them, about 5,000 copies, will be circulated to businesses around the country at UK-wide exhibitions and conferences. Tees Business co-editor Dave Allan said: “We’re really excited to be launching another first for the Tees region. “We’re passionate about Teesside and the Tees Valley, and that comes across in our publications – now we want to show the rest of the country what we’re all about, and the fantastic investment opportunities we have here.” Space in This Is Tees Valley is available from £295 (quarter page ads), to £495 (half page), £845 (full page) and £1,395 (double- page spread).
