Mortgage advice - Paul Good.
GOOD NEWS
A
Mortgage advice that comes straight from the heart
first-class service and customer
relationships are essential for
any successful business. And for
Stockton-based mortgage advisor
Paul Good, it’s all about face-to-face contact.
Good Mortgage Solutions prides itself
on friendly and direct personal customer
service. Clients are familiar voices and
faces, not just names and numbers.
Forget a detached conveyor belt system
– Paul and his team provide a welcoming,
straightforward and flexible touch. That can
be a Godsend when it comes to identifying
the best way to navigate the mortgage
minefield.
“When you sit down in front of someone
for the first time you need to know what
they want from the mortgage,” says Paul.
“Most clients want something far more
personal than making a phone call to a
call centre, where they enter what seems
like a production line, nor do they want to
enter their personal details into a website
-–details which might then be sold to the
highest bidder.
“We always prefer to offer face-to-face
appointments, at a time and place to suit
the client. We understand everyone leads a
busy life, so we work around them.
“Our initial appointment is all about
you and what you want – we try to find
individual solutions to your individual
requirements.”
As Paul says: “One size never fits all
when it comes to a mortgage.
“Our friends become clients and our
clients become friends. The personal touch
means we are part of your house-buying
experience.
“We can look after everyone involved
in the process, from accountants, estate
agents, solicitors, surveyors and, of course,
the mortgage lender.”
Paul, who has worked in the industry for
17 years and established Good Mortgage
Solutions in 2014, is proud to be serving
Teesside from his Preston Farm HQ.
“We try to keep everything local because
that’s where our business is, and it matters
to the people around us,” continues Paul.
“I’m born and bred here and I’ve worked
on Teesside all my life. Most of our clients
are based on Teesside, although we have
clients all over the country.
“Teesside is important to us as a
business. Wherever possible, our suppliers
are all based in the region and even the
charities we support, Teesside Philanthropic
and Daisy Chain, both support families
within Teesside too.”
Personal touch -
Paul Good.
Paul says most of the firm’s business
comes from existing clients and other
local professionals including accountants,
solicitors and financial advisers.
“Financial advisers refer cases to us
as we only have permissions to deal
with mortgage and insurance products,”
he explains. “We can’t offer pension or
investments advice, so financial advisers
will happily pass us cases they either don’t
have time to do or need a more specialist
approach. At the same time, they want to
keep the business with a local company
they know and trust.”
The firm is planning new staff
appointments this year and Paul is also
currently looking to employ an apprentice.
The future is bright. The future is Good.
