CP Waites among first to launch
accountancy app
A
Tees Valley practice owned by one of
the North-East’s most experienced
accountants is among the first
chartered accountancy firms to launch its
own mobile app – and it’s available for clients
and non-clients alike.
Led by principal Nick Waites, Darlington-
based CP Waites has acted for clients of all
sizes across many different business sectors.
Nick and his small team have established a
reputation for offering a personal, traditional
and professional service but he says the
launch of the CP Waites App is recognition
that it’s now crucial for individuals and
business owners to be able to access
information on the go.
Nick said: “Whilst we’ll never move away
from our long-established values, we always
strive to move with the times to ensure we
give the best possible service.
“The app is already proving to be a useful
tool in ensuring our clients have all the
information they need at their fingertips,
helping them to organise their financial
affairs whenever and wherever they get the
opportunity and also to enable them to have
useful financial and tax information whenever
they need it.
“With the accountancy world undergoing
considerable changes,
the app complements
the cloud accounting
systems that increasing
numbers of clients are
turning to, enabling us
to be advisers rather
than simply processors.”

gives everyone a buzz
and helps to keep the

Carter.
“They’re full of energy and enthusiasm,
and they’re constantly coming up with their
own ideas and using their initiative.
“It has without doubt benefited the
company as we’ve continued our sustained
growth plan.”
Of the young group, Antonio is currently
close to completing his apprenticeship
through the Northern Skills Group, while
Simon is studying business at Teesside

with Bespoke.
Michelle added: “All our employees
are encouraged to explore courses and
educational routes, which will only benefit
them in their careers long-term.
“We want to keep bringing through
