Ian Price, Tomlinson Hall Billingham-based pump manufacturer and distributor Tomlinson Hall has appointed a new area sales manager to help expand its national presence.
Ian Price will be responsible for building up new sales for Tomlinson Hall to drive business growth in the south of England.
A joint-founding member of the Pump Distributors Association, Tomlinson Hall offers a total service to industry – including pump selection and supply, site visits, problem solving, servicing and repairs.
Founded on Teesside in 1919, Tomlinson Hall also manufactures its own innovative liquid ring vacuum pump, Liquivac, which can perform operations across industries including seawater extraction, land remediation, chemical processing, food and drink processing and utilities.
Lauren Wearmouth, Ithica Films Tees media firm Ithica Films has appointed Lauren Wearmouth in a new role as head of finance and operations to support the company’ s continued growth.
Having been key in bringing Ithica Films into the Boho Zone in her previous role, as head of operations at Boho Five, Lauren was hand-picked for the position to work with the Middlesbrough-based filmmakers.
The move is the first role to be created outside of the filmmaking team to aid the development of Ithica, which has become a key player in the region’ s digital and creative sector since launching in 2014.
Stan Higgins, ITS A Teesside technology firm is celebrating a major coup after securing the services of Stan Higgins, who has joined Middlesbroughbased ITS as a non-executive director.
Dr Higgins, who recently stood down from his role as CEO of NEPIC( North East Process Industry Cluster), is a hugely respected name in the processing sector who has forged an outstanding track record with a host of international businesses over a career spanning almost five decades.
ITS, which has operated from its Middlesbrough headquarters on Riverside Park since 1991, provides automation and instrumentation services to highly regulated industries including pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, nuclear and chemicals.

The company, which provides cosmetic, non-NHS treatments and general dentistry, has welcomed Rachel Hinley, 17, as a trainee dental nurse.
Rachel’ s appointment brings the total number of apprenticeships by the independent dentist to four, with each undergoing a rigorous training and study course before taking up full-time positions at the practice.

Chloe Gray has been welcomed on board at the Stockton depot and joins the team as part of the company’ s Graduate Training Programme, where she has just started her second year of training.
As assistant operations manager, the 23-year-old, from Aberdeen, will oversee the daily running of the depot as she progresses with her training and development, whilst receiving support from a dedicated mentor.
