Be part of the buzz in Stockton
Mandale Group’ s head of property development Joe Darragh at Dovecot Street in Stockton, where a refurbished unit is available.
Stockton Town Centre’ s £ 38m regeneration has transformed the area into a bustling, award-winning zone for retail and entertainment.
Winner of the Rising Star category in the Great British High Street of the Year Awards, new paving, kerbs, seating and artwork have given the town centre area a bright new look for those visiting the diverse range of independent shops and national retail brands.
And close to the stunning water feature that sits at the heart of the transformation, Mandale Group has followed Stockton Council’ s lead by completely refurbishing one of four retail units it owns on Dovecot Street.
Situated within a stone’ s throw of both Wellington Square shopping centre and arts hub Arc, the 1,235 sq ft ground floor unit is next door to Wags and Whiskers Pet Boutique, Lily Nail Spa and a sweets shop, all run by clients of Mandale.
The unit has been fully refurbished including plastering, decoration, new flooring and integral roll shutters, while the shop front has been varnished and returned to its original condition.
One of the North-East’ s leading property developers, Mandale believe the unit offers a real opportunity for a business that’ s keen to be at the heart of the booming regeneration zone.
Joe Darragh, head of Mandale’ s property development department, said:“ This unit really could be anything, so we’ d highly recommend local retailers and entrepreneurs to get in touch and pay a visit. It’ s a great location for a specialist shop.
“ When Stockton Council carried out such an outstanding regeneration job, Mandale decided to follow suit. There is a completely new look and feel about the area now, so it is becoming increasingly sought-after.”
