YOUR CAMPAIGN

Businesses unite to help This Is Tees Valley reach investors, visitors and decision-makers

Businesses and support organisations across Tees Valley are stepping forward to help spread one of the region’ s most powerful messages after answering a call to help distribute all 10,000 copies of This Is Tees Valley 2026- 27 to investors, business leaders, clients and visitors across the UK.

Hotels are placing copies in every bedroom for guests.
Major employers are taking bundles to exhibitions, conferences and client meetings.
Visitors to the region using Teesside International Airport can pick up a copy on arrival or departure.
And, together with thousands of copies mailed directly to influential decisionmakers nationwide and distributed across the wider North-East, the campaign to champion Tees Valley has gathered fresh momentum.
The growing support follows an appeal from Tees Business – creators of This Is Tees Valley- for organisations across the region to help ensure the publication reaches as many influential people as possible.
At the launch of this year’ s edition, delegates were reminded that This Is Tees Valley is far more than a publication.
“ We might publish it but we don’ t own the campaign,” said Tees Business director Dave Allan.
“ You are the Tees region’ s powerhouses. You are the people building businesses, creating jobs, exporting around the world, attracting investment and shaping our future.
“ It takes an entire region speaking with confidence and consistency.
“ This isn’ t our campaign. It’ s our region’ s campaign.” And businesses have responded. Stockton’ s Hampton by Hilton, Holiday Inn Express Middlesbrough and Station Suites have all committed to placing copies in every guest bedroom, ensuring thousands of business travellers and visitors discover the publication during their stay in the region.
Big names have also offered to put the publication into the hands of those they work with across the region and beyond – including Teesside University, Anglo American, Sembcorp, Middlesbrough College, AV Dawson, Moonrise 24hr Recruitment, Addison Group, Navigator Terminals, Pneuma Group, Middlesbrough Council and North East Chamber of Commerce.
Also distributing This Is Tees Valley are BearTech, Ryze Agency, Gisborough Hall, MeFab, Backshield Environmental Services, Clive Owen, Tilbury Douglas, Digital Towns, Hambleton Group, RS Industrial Services, Teesside Hospice, Stantec, Baines Jewitt, Shaka International and Freeman Johnson Solicitors, who have all pledged to distribute copies to clients, visitors, partners and delegates at exhibitions, conferences, networking events and business meetings across the UK.
Alongside that support, copies are being made available through Teesside International Airport, while thousands more have been posted directly to investors, developers, business leaders and other key decision-makers in London, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and further afield.
Martin Walker, director of Tees Business, added:“ What has been particularly encouraging is the number of organisations that have responded to our call and recognised that promoting Tees Valley is something we all have a responsibility for.“ Every business has its own story to tell, but together our voices are far more powerful than any one organisation acting alone.
“ By sharing This Is Tees Valley with clients, visitors, investors and decisionmakers, these organisations are helping present a united, confident message about the region we all believe in.
“ That’ s exactly what this campaign has always been about. Not Tees Business talking up Tees Valley on its own, but businesses across the region standing together because they know that, united, we are a much stronger force.”
Each copy shared is another opportunity to tell Tees Valley’ s story.
Another chance to challenge outdated perceptions.
Another opportunity to showcase a region leading the way in advanced manufacturing, clean energy, engineering, digital innovation, education, logistics and global trade.
For Tees Business, that collective effort reflects the publication’ s true purpose.
This Is Tees Valley was created to celebrate everything the region has to offer while helping build its national reputation. It exists to showcase worldclass businesses, major investment opportunities, inspiring people and internationally significant projects, replacing outdated stereotypes with a modern story of confidence, ambition and achievement.
