Chart new partnerships at inaugural Tees Business Showcase & Forum
Inspired by Teesside’ s world-famous explorer Captain James Cook, the inaugural Tees Business Showcase & Forum invites businesses to discover fresh opportunities, chart new partnerships and set course for future growth.
Hundreds of delegates, influential speakers, powerful networking and a packed programme has been designed to inspire, inform and connect the region’ s business community.
That’ s the promise behind the 2026 Tees Business Showcase & Forum- a major new event from the team behind Tees Business, set to take over Middlesbrough FC’ s iconic Riverside Stadium on Tuesday, October 20.
With partnership packages themed around Captain Cook’ s famous ships- Resolution, Endeavour and Discovery- the event celebrates the ambition, courage and spirit of exploration that continues to define the Tees region today.
Free to attend and open to businesses from across the Tees region and beyond, this an opportunity to embark on new conversations, explore opportunities and navigate the changing business landscape at an event billed as one of the most ambitious business gatherings the region has seen.
Organised by Resolution Media & Publishing- the company behind Tees Business magazine, This Is Tees Valley, the Tees Business Awards, Tees Tech Awards and a growing portfolio of major regional events- the showcase and forum aims to bring together decision-makers, entrepreneurs, innovators, investors and ambitious organisations under one roof.
The event will feature a high-impact exhibition space, influential keynote speakers, practical workshops, expert-led insight sessions and extensive networking opportunities throughout the day.
Early bird exhibition stands are available from £ 300- discounted to £ 250 for Tees Business partners- while a range of sponsorship opportunities are also being offered to businesses looking to align themselves with the landmark event.
Partnership packages- named in homage to Teesside’ s most famous son- include the Captain Cook Headline Partnership(£ 5,000), and packages named after his boats, Resolution, Endeavour and Discovery( at £ 3,000, £ 2,000 and £ 1,000 each).
Tees Business director Dave Allan said the launch of the showcase and forum was a natural next step for the publication and events brand.
He said:“ As the established voice of business in the region, producing some of the Tees region’ s leading publications and events, we genuinely believe the time is right to launch a major business showcase and forum of this scale.
“ We are determined to raise the bar to create something above and beyond anything the region has previously experienced.
“ This isn’ t just another expo. We want this to become the event where businesses make connections, discover opportunities, learn new ideas and help shape the future direction of our region.
“ The Tees region has incredible businesses, talent, innovation and ambition. This event is about bringing all of that energy together in one room.”
Fellow Tees Business director Martin Walker said the event would focus heavily on delivering genuine value for delegates.
He said:“ We’ ll be utilising our extensive network to ensure high-quality and inspiring keynote speakers alongside a series of skills workshops to ensure all delegates leave feeling inspired and informed.
“ There will be practical takeaways,

honest conversations and real opportunities to build relationships.
“ We know businesses are busy and events need to deliver genuine value. That’ s exactly what we’ re focused on creating.
“ The Riverside Stadium provides the perfect backdrop for what we believe will become one of the standout dates in the region’ s business calendar.”
Promoted under the banner“ Where Teesside Does Business”, the event is expected to attract hundreds of delegates from sectors including technology, manufacturing, engineering, professional services, construction, education, hospitality, logistics, property, digital and creative industries.
Alongside keynote sessions and workshops, organisers say the day will provide businesses of all sizes with opportunities to showcase products and services, generate leads, strengthen partnerships and engage directly with the wider regional business community.
The launch also reflects Tees Business’ continued growth as a regional media and events platform, with the publication now reaching more than 20,000 readers through its print and digital channels.
