Tees Businesswomen Awards 2026 – it’ s time to nominate!

Venue – Hardwick Hall’ s Coleman Suite will again provide the backdrop for the 2026 Tees Businesswomen Awards.

The annual Tees Businesswomen Awards are back – and nominations are now open.

For the past eight years, the prestigious awards have shone a light on this area’ s remarkable businesswomen.
From those just starting their careers to women leading top-class firms, the Tees Businesswomen Awards have transformed the profile of the region’ s female business leaders while creating role models to inspire the next generation.
And with nominations now open, the search for the class of 2026 is underway.
The Tees Businesswomen Awards shine a light on local female talent, creating role models, breaking barriers and inspiring the next generation to believe in their power, potential and place in business.
Organised by Tees Business, the ninth Tees Businesswomen Awards will culminate in a glittering ceremony in Hardwick Hall’ s Coleman Suite on the evening of Wednesday, November 4.
And for the ninth successive year, the awards are again being headline sponsored by Middlesbrough College Group.
Twelve awards will be handed out on the big night, including the coveted Tees Businesswoman of the Year category, also sponsored by Middlesbrough College Group and won last year by Rachel Burke, director of compliance, risk and business support at global industrial technology expert Tracerco.
But there’ s a range of categories to nominate in, covering the breadth of skills shown by our region’ s amazing businesswomen and female-led organisations.
Tees Business director Dave Allan said entering the Tees Businesswomen Awards is a powerful way to showcase a business, celebrate its achievements and raise its profile across the region.
He added:“ These awards shine a spotlight on the incredible female talent driving success in Teesside, offering welldeserved recognition and credibility.
“ By nominating a woman for an individual award, or a female-led organisation for a business award, you’ re helping to recognise and celebrate the often-unsung contributions of female leaders, innovators and changemakers in our community.
Dave’ s fellow Tees Business director, Martin Walker, added:“ Whether it’ s a colleague, client, mentor, friend or a brilliant female-led business, your nomination could make a real difference – and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.”
The deadline for entries and nominations is September 7, 2026.
