Meet the firms supporting seventh annual tech event
A host of businesses are again supporting the region’ s tech and digital sectors by backing the seventh annual Tees Tech Awards.
The awards, organised by Tees Business, celebrate the businesses and individuals driving digital innovation and technological progress across the Tees region.
The seventh annual Tees Tech Awards – co-launched in 2020 by Tees Business with David Dixon and Dan Watson – will be held at Teesside University’ s Digital Life building on the evening of Thursday, June 4.
Meet some of the businesses supporting this year’ s event …
Outrank – Tech Startup Award
The Tech Startup category recognises ambitious early-stage companies that are developing new technologies, products and services while demonstrating strong growth potential.
Outrank, one of the Tees region’ s fastest-growing digital agencies, has built a strong reputation for helping businesses harness technology to improve performance and visibility online.
Its sponsorship of the Tech Startup category reflects the company’ s belief in the importance of innovation as a driver of economic growth and business success.
Outrank web development manager Charles Little – pictured above( left) with head designer Megan Templeton- Roberts and web content manager Jordan Thornhill – said supporting the awards was a natural fit for the business.
“ We chose to sponsor the Tech Awards because innovation sits at the core of everything we do at Outrank.
“ Technology drives growth, creates opportunity and shapes the future of modern business. Supporting these awards allows us to celebrate the talent, ambition and forward-thinking companies pushing our region’ s tech sector ahead.
“ The Tech Awards represent more than recognition; they showcase the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit that power sustainable growth.
“ We’ re proud to support an event that highlights the businesses and individuals building the future of our industry.”
Middlesbrough College – Tees Tech Rising Star
Middlesbrough College says it’ s proud to play its part in this year’ s event by again sponsoring the Rising Star award – won last year by iConvert’ s Ashley Wood.
Gary Potts, vice principal for business, innovation and community partnerships, pictured with the college’ s associate director digital, Nicola Loughran, said:“ At Middlesbrough College, we’ re passionate about helping people grow and succeed.
“ Our sponsorship of the Rising Star Award demonstrates our commitment to recognising the outstanding new talent shaping the region’ s tech sector.
“ Through our dedicated Digital Centre, MC Digital, and strong employer partnerships across the Tees Valley, we’ re proud to support and nurture the digital innovators of tomorrow.”
