CELEBRATION
Big night – nearly 150 Fleet Factors staff from as far afield as Luton and Scotland travelled to be part of the firm’ s anniversary celebrations.
Celebrations – Fleet Factors danced the night away.
Commitment – Linda Hunter won the Mike Hunter Award for Outstanding Contribution at Fleet Factors’ big night.
So, here’ s to the next 50 years! And in the meantime, here are some of the award winners and nominees:
The awards event was the perfect way to celebrate the people, past and present, who’ ve made Fleet Factors what it is.”
And there was a popular“ home win” for D89 Middlesbrough, earning Ben Simpson and his team the“ Most Helpful Depot” award.
But while several people picked up trophies on the night, in truth it was the company as a whole that was the winner – a true night of triumph for a real Teesside success story.
Georgia, who joined Fleet Factors as an office junior 11 years ago, fresh out of King’ s Academy in Coulby Newham, said:“ It was the first time we have held an awards event and we will definitely do it again.
“ We normally do a charity walk once a year, with all proceeds raised going to the Fleet Factors Community Fund, which is then distributed into good causes in our local community. We also have a bowling night, a chance for all of our staff to meet

up and have some fun.“ The awards event was a brilliant night and the perfect way to celebrate the people, past and present, who’ ve made Fleet Factors what it is.”
The whole ethos of the evening was summed up by a message from the board of directors in the event’ s glossy programme – produced by Resolution Media and Publishing, the team behind Tees Business.
It read:“ As we celebrate 50 years of Fleet Factors, the Board of Directors would like to take this moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to every single member of our team – past and present.
“ This milestone is not just a celebration of our company’ s history, but a celebration of the people who have made it possible.”
