10 YEARS TALKING UP TEESSIDE

Charting the impact of a platform built on community

As Tees Business marks 10 years of“ Talking Up Teesside”, it’ s the perfect moment to reflect on the impact of a platform that has become the definitive voice of business across the region.

From day one, Tees Business set out to be more than a magazine. It has grown into a champion for the area’ s enterprises – a catalyst that connects, energises and unites the people powering the Tees economy.
Started from scratch in 2015 when its founders could find a moment to break from their demanding PR businesses, it has grown into one of the Tees region’ s most instantly recognisable business names – dubbed the region’ s“ biggest little brand”.
Today, our client list reads like a Who’ s Who of the region’ s most influential businesses. But true to our founding promise, we’ ve never limited our spotlight to those who work with us commercially. If it’ s positive, progressive and strengthens the Tees story, we cover it – sharing good news with the region’ s widest-reaching business audience.
That ethos, instilled by founders and directors Martin Walker and Dave Allan, is simple and unwavering: be inclusive, celebrate everyone and help build a thriving business community. Our awards honour success without favour. Our events are open to all. And our platforms highlight achievements from across the region – clients and non-clients alike.
This 10-Year Impact Report, soon to be published at teesbusiness. co. uk, captures the results of that mission. Here, we share the standout highlights from a decade dedicated to championing Teesside’ s business success.
