CHARITY

Why your support matters

At Teesside Hospice, we’ re on a mission to ensure people of Teesside have access to the very best end-of-life care, and that they and their families receive compassion and support when they need it most.

It costs £ 18,500 per day to run our services, and we receive less than 30 % of funding from statutory sources. Simply put, we couldn’ t continue our work without the help of local businesses and organisations.
Away from helping us financially, we also benefit hugely from the support of volunteers who help keep our services running – this includes company teams.
And not only does corporate support provide a huge boost to our hospice, it’ s also a vital tool for your environmental, social and governance( ESG) strategy and meeting your goals.
Ways to get involved with Teesside Hospice While fundraising and donations provide vital support, there are many other ways you can help – including through corporate volunteering, where you share your skills to help our hospice and team grow.
Here are just a few ways you and your team can get involved through volunteering with Teesside Hospice: > Expert skill sharing: Sharing your expertise through workshops and mentoring various hospice departments, helping our team grow their skills.
> Event marshals: We need enthusiastic volunteers and marshals at many of our events, including the Midnight Walk.
> Hospice volunteering: There are a range of opportunities across our hospice. This can include gardening and maintenance.
> Shops challenge: The challenge allows you and your colleagues to work in a Teesside Hospice shop for the day and compete against other teams in one or more other stores.
> Christmas collections and Treecycle: Donate a short amount of your time by
