Students, their families and staff at Middlesbrough College Group are celebrating a record-breaking year of academic success.

This year, 76.2 % of A-level students at the group’ s sixth form, MC6, achieved grades A * to C, with a record number of students securing A * to B grades.

High-performing subjects included further maths, maths, art and design, politics and sociology, with more than one in three students achieving an A * to B in these subjects.
As well as a 99 % A-level pass rate, Middlesbrough College Group continues to lead the way nationally in T-level delivery with almost 600 students enrolled on these flagship vocational programmes, making it one of the largest providers in the country.
This year, nearly 200 students completed their T-levels, which are equivalent to three A-levels, with an impressive 73 % achieving high grades at merit to distinction( equivalent to BBB and AAA respectively at A-level).
