Game-changing night for Tees Tech Awards
Triumph – the Tech Awards winners of 2025 take to the stage at the end of a memorable night.

The first female to be crowned Business Leader of the Year, a surprise award for host Imran Anwar and a double success for a robotics business were the highlights of the sixth annual Tees Tech Awards.
On a night of celebration for what is officially the UK’ s fastest-growing tech hub outside of London, The Tees Tech Awards 2025 saw 300 guests gather in the Pavilion at Kirkleatham Walled Garden, near Redcar.
A Tees Business event in association with Applied Integration – Stokesley-based provider of robotic, automated guided vehicle and automation solutions – the uplifting event also saw a keynote speech from the Tees Businesswoman of the Year, Intasite director Danielle Croce, while funds were raised for Teesside’ s autism and neurodiversity charity, Daisy Chain.

At an event which, despite 11 awards being presented, felt much more like a celebration than a competition, the evening reached a fitting climax when host Imran Anwar was surprised on stage by former winner and Tech Awards co-founder David Dixon when presented with the prestigious Tees Tech Ambassador accolade.
Meanwhile, Tanglewood Games and Colewood Digital missed out to Stokesleybased robotics firm Labman Automation for the Business of the Year award, with Labman also winning the Tech for Good category in recognition of its collaboration with TMRW Life Sciences on its CryoRobot Select, which revolutionises IVF specimen management by ensuring safe, efficient and reliable storage and retrieval of eggs and embryos.
Brave – Assessable’ s Lisa Gosnay, Echo3 Cloud’ s Danny Reed and Tripbooka’ s Helmut Okike delivered their on-stage presentations before the audience voted live to decide the Start-Up winner.
