When Alex Johnson completed her law degree, her future seemed mapped out. Years of study had prepared her for a career in the legal world, but as she approached the next step, she realised her true passion lay elsewhere. She wanted to work directly with people, build relationships and make a meaningful impact on the careers of others.
That drive led her to Middlesbroughbased Achieve Professionals. Joining as a graduate consultant, Alex entered a world that was entirely new to her but one that quickly felt like home. Alex had to learn the technical side of recruitment, from sourcing candidates to managing client relationships, while developing the commercial instincts that underpin success. But it was her attitude, work ethic and understanding of people that helped her thrive. “ Recruitment was completely new to me at the beginning, but once I began forming relationships with clients, I quickly realised how many meaningful aspects there are to this role,” says Alex.
