Angela Turley, AV Dawson Group Angela Turley has joined AV Dawson Group as head of marketing, reporting to the group managing director Charlie Nettle.
An experienced marketer, Angela has had an extensive marketing career, with her most recent appointments being at Venator and Sembcorp.
At AV Dawson, she is responsible for driving forward the group’ s marketing strategy, communications, stakeholder engagement and business development.
Charlie said:“ I’ m really pleased to bring a marketer of Angela’ s calibre into the business. I’ m excited to see how she develops our marketing strategy and shapes the marketing function to drive forward our business.”
Kirsten Donkin, Double Eleven Global games developer Double Eleven has appointed Kirsten Donkin as its head of communications, based at its new Boho X headquarters in Middlesbrough.
Kirsten joins the team at Double Eleven after more than 20 years in the maritime sector with PD Ports. In her new role, she is responsible for providing strategic oversight to the board, leading on the creation and implementation of communications and social impact strategies aligned with business goals.
As well as handling all aspects of stakeholder engagement and reputation management, Kirsten will elevate internal stakeholder engagement to support the rapid growth of Double Eleven in delivering some of the world’ s most highly acclaimed games, from Minecraft Dungeons to Red Dead Redemption and Fallout 76.
Silvia Lasai, Honor Welsh, Morgan Hamilton, Abbie Hayes and Lucie Simon, Achieve Hospitality and Achieve Professionals Achieve Hospitality and Achieve Professionals has announced the arrival of five new team members to strengthen the Middlesbrough firm’ s recruitment and operations.
Silvia Lasai has joined Achieve Hospitality as a US recruitment consultant, bringing first-hand experience from the private household and childcare sectors. Honor Welsh adds further depth
to the Achieve Professionals team as a finance recruitment consultant, while Morgan Hamilton has joined Achieve Hospitality in a hospitality divisional manager role.
Supporting Achieve’ s growing operations across both brands, Abbie Hayes has been appointed as finance assistant and Lucie Simon has joined as social media and marketing executive.
Grace Stobbs and Jemma Hoggard, Baines Jewitt Grace Stobbs and Jemma Hoggard have been promoted to become associate directors at chartered accountancy firm Baines Jewitt.
Grace joined Baines Jewitt direct from university, where she graduated in accounting and finance. She completed a three-year professional training programme to become an associate chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales( ICAEW).
Following on from sixth form college, Jemma initially trained with a top 15 international accountancy firm where she achieved an Association of Accounting Technicians( AAT) qualification and became a chartered accountant with the ICAEW. She joined Baines Jewitt in 2015, and was awarded an ICAEW Certificate of Fellowship in 2019.
