Industry and tech triumph at Tees Business Awards
More than 350 guests celebrated the best of Teesside innovation and success at the Tees Business Awards 2025, with Billingham-based RS Industrial Services and tech entrepreneur Imran Anwar leading the honours on a special night.
A Tees Business event in association with Stockon-based headline sponsor Moonrise 24hr Recruitment, the third annual Tees Business Awards took place at Hardwick Hall Hotel.
Teesside-raised football presenter Hayley McQueen hosted the awards, which also saw £ 3,500 raised for Teesside Hospice, while HR Alchemy MD and hospice trustee Jo Davies rallied support for an important local campaign, Talk Cancer Teesside.
Tees Business director Dave Allan said the awards were part of the ongoing celebration of 10 years of Tees Business, in which they had made“ Talking Up Teesside” a core element from the start.
Referring to the region’ s ability to bounce back, regenerate and reinvent itself despite numerous setbacks since its industrial heyday, he said there was still plenty of room for positivity despite global uncertainty, telling the business community:“ So keep doing what you’ re doing. Keep building. Keep growing. Keep embracing change. Keep issuing those reminders of exactly how,‘ We built the world’.”
