Ambitious Outrank ’ s search for new talent
Middlesbrough-based digital marketing agency Outrank has revealed an “ open door ” recruitment approach as it continues to hire the experts required to continue its aggressive growth strategy and expansion into 2025 .
Outrank , which has a reputation for creating a strong company culture and a positive work environment , is actively looking for search engine optimisation ( SEO ) experts , PPC professionals , marketers , developers and hungry sales reps .
The headcount at the business ’ s River Court headquarters in Riverside Park has already increased by 37 % over the last 12 months , coinciding with a 35 % rise in turnover .
As part of that revenue growth and team expansion , the hugely experienced Simon Davies has been brought in as a commercial consultant .
His record for scaling businesses , coupled with his financial pedigree , has allowed Outrank to achieve greater transparency across its finances .
Also joining Outrank to help steer this impressive growth is Max Lyne , formerly of Crafter ’ s Companion . Max has been brought in as chief technology officer to work alongside newly promoted head of research and data , Lewis Dimmick , to help strategise and improve processes within the development department and the wider business .
Outrank has made a significant investment this quarter in overhauling and revising its technology stack , including the adoption and development of some AI marketing solutions and advanced data analytics to help improve efficiency , data clarity and overall quality of campaigns for clients . The team is looking to roll out a new data and insights reporting suite in the new year , which will significantly help to drive growth , increase ROI and give greater clarity to lead and sale conversion data .
Such improvements , including the launch of a new data and insights reporting suite in the early part of 2025 , will give greater clarity and a bigger return on investments . And the addition of Max will significantly help to drive that forward . Outrank CEO Stephen Robinson says :
“ Max is a key strategic appointment and the promotion of Lewis into the senior role will help steer the next iteration of our technology .
“ Our systems and processes have helped our customers achieve amazing results over the past few years and with this next investment we expect to see even better returns as we embrace the technologies available to us today .
“ That headcount increase includes tripling the development department so we can focus on innovation , which is our commitment to staying ahead in the digital marketing landscape .
“ The business is growing as we look to strengthen in all departments . We want the best talent in the area to reflect a business that is going places heading into the new year .”
Outrank was recently awarded a place on the UK ’ s Great Place to Work list for the second year in a row because of its strong company culture , positive work environment , flexible working week as well as industry-leading salary and perks packages for staff .
