Moonrise celebrates decade of care , growth and innovation
The year 2024 marked a monumental milestone for Moonrise 24hr Recruitment , with the Stockton-based business celebrating its 10th anniversary .
Since its founding in 2014 , Moonrise has been dedicated to delivering high-quality care , fostering innovation and making a meaningful impact on the communities it serves .
Over the past 12 months , Moonrise has received a glowing Care Quality Commission ( CQC ) report , expanded its team , celebrated its anniversary and earned industry recognition . These milestones reflect a decade-long pursuit of excellence in the care sector .
Consistent excellence : CQC rating In February , Moonrise was awarded a “ Good ” rating by the CQC . This report reflected the trust and satisfaction of the firm ’ s clients and their families , who rely on Moonrise ’ s team for compassionate care .
One family member commented :

A decade of dedication On July 26 2024 , Moonrise celebrated its 10th anniversary , a milestone reflecting growth from humble beginnings .
The company was first conceived in the Gwaringa family home and , in 2014 , Jessica Gwaringa ’ s nine-year-old son Keith named the company “ Moonrise ” to symbolise a new dawn in care .
Starting with just a small office and two desks , the fast-growing firm evolved into a nationally recognised agency providing domiciliary care , healthcare staffing , children ’ s services , supported living and transport services .
Today , Moonrise operates from its new headquarters , Moonrise House , with a team of more than 200 professionals .
The recent addition of secure transport services , specialised healthcare training programmes and supported living for young people underscores Moonrise ’ s commitment to innovation and excellence .
Team expansion : supporting a growing business The Preston Farm-headquartered business experienced significant team growth in 2024 , expanding its office staff across several departments .
The journey began with Hollie , who joined Moonrise as an apprentice at the age of 16 . After completing her Level 3 Business Administration qualification , she became a full-time business administrator .
The HR department welcomed two new members , Hanna and Tariro , who support the onboarding and development of the growing team . Suleiman joined as an additional care coordinator , providing further clinical support , and Induja , a finance intern and former healthcare assistant , began working towards her MSc
