Demolition experts to grow

With ambitious plans to double current turnover to £ 5m and expand a 20-strong team in the next two years , GLC Projects ’ move into the UKSE Innovation Centre at Hartlepool has given it the base and support it needs .

Set up by Graeme Cochrane in 2019 , a growing number of impressive contracts has seen the demolition expert involved in site clearance , mechanical demolition and dismantling , material process and civil engineering , with its expertise in asbestos removal in high demand .
GLC Projects recently secured its largest contract to date , working on region-wide projects for up to 12 years with Northumbrian Water Group .
Other clients include local authorities , NHS hospitals and schools as well as works for Strabag UK , as part of the HS2 Segment Factory in Hartlepool .
“ This is an ideal environment for us ,” said Graeme Cochrane , “ And we may well be needing additional space quite soon . The facilities and the support from the UKSE team are excellent .”
