How real estate entrepreneur is transforming communities
Jordan Ward didn ’ t plan to launch a real estate business , but after a tough holiday season last year , complete with his car getting stolen and a denied insurance claim , he decided it was time for a change .
The 28-year-old took a suggestion from his partner to heart , and that ’ s how Redcarbased ProInvest Properties was born .
In less than a year , his property company has flipped more than 600 homes , pulled in £ 1.8m in revenue , and attracted more than 1,000 investors – all without a single pound of outside capital .
Jordan ’ s approach means he ’ s not just about making money – he ’ s also about making a difference .
With ProInvest , he ’ s taking neglected , rundown properties in areas such as Teesside , giving them new life , and turning them into affordable , quality homes for families , while delivering strong returns for investors .
“ People need homes , not just investments ,” Jordan says . “ We ’ re taking houses that need love , fixing them up and making them affordable for everyday families . This isn ’ t just about profit – it ’ s about creating stability .”
Under Jordan ’ s lead , ProInvest is flipping the real estate game on its head . By focusing on overlooked properties in northern communities and turning them into high-yield rental homes , his team is achieving returns as high as 11 % annually – far above the 4 % average in London .
This formula has drawn in investors from places as far away as Dubai and Saudi Arabia , eager for a slice of both community impact and reliable returns .
“ We ’ re creating affordable housing solutions while giving investors a steady income stream and capital growth ,”

Jordan explains . “ We focus on homes in the £ 50,000 to £ 70,000 range , providing much-needed rental options without competing with first-time buyers .”
Beyond sales , the company also works with local councils to provide housing solutions for vulnerable individuals and has initiated student-focused HMO ( house in multiple occupation ) conversions to address specific rental needs in Teesside ’ s TS1 . It also continues to provide regular work for local mortgage advisors and conveyancers .
ProInvest has made Redcar its HQ , but is quickly expanding into Durham , Cumbria and South Wales , where demand for affordable housing is on the rise .
