The birth of his daughter spurred Peter Calvert on to launching his own business – and now he has a Rising Star Tees Tech Award to his name .
Peter started in tech as an apprentice in 2013 . Ten years later , he founded his own company , Embeddable – a technology company that offers a blend of software development partnership and consultancy services .
And it ’ s going so well , the company not only clinched the Tees Tech Awards Newcomer of the Year title , it earned Peter himself the Rising Star title .
But after receiving his award from Matthew Telling of category sponsor Middlesbrough College Group , Peter was quick to share the credit for Embeddable ’ s success so far .
He said : “ I ’ m genuinely delighted to be named rising star , but I couldn ’ t have done it without the support of the businesses and people on Teesside who ’ ve helped me make it happen in this first year .
“ I ’ ve worked in Teesside tech for well over 10 years and had the privilege of getting to know a lot of people in the sector .
“ I took the leap last year to start a business when my daughter Margot was born , knowing it was a ‘ now or never ’ moment . She was the reason I got started and I ’ ve not looked back since .
“ Thanks to the support I ’ ve received , I ’ ve never had to look back and I can ’ t wait to see what ’ s next .”
Based in Middlesbrough ’ s Boho 5 , Peter has just taken on his first employee , junior developer Leo Brecken .
But he says : “ We want to scale up further , support more people on Teesside and bring more investment into Teesside businesses .”
With a robust academic background in civil and structural engineering , complemented by an ongoing PhD in structural engineering , Prasanna has mastered the integration of AI , VR , LiDAR and drone technology to revolutionise project management , maintenance and training within the offshore wind energy sector .
His development of advanced digital twin technology , predictive maintenance frameworks and groundbreaking VR training modules underscore his role as a driving force behind Tricore ’ s success .
The firm ’ s technical development manager , Prasanna ’ s passion for digital innovation , combined with his commitment to excellence , positions him as a leading figure in pushing the boundaries of what ’ s possible and a key influencer in the digital transformation of the energy sector .

HARRY TRIBE ( TRIBE VISION )
Harry ’ s technical proficiency in the virtual fashion design software Clo3D has seen him lecture on the subject at Teesside University , with plans to offer online courses to other fashion designers . He has also demonstrated huge commitment in establishing his fashion prototyping studio , Tribe Vision .
Harnessing the capabilities of digital software , Harry aims to drive positive transformations within the fashion industry , notorious as the second-largest polluter globally . By adopting digital sampling for every clothing collection , Tribe Vision can prevent unsold garments from occupying landfill space .
He now aims to generate job opportunities for fashion designers in our area , challenging the notion that success in this industry needs relocation to major cities such as London .
