BOB MORTIMER , comedian and TV personality I have so many fond memories of the place , especially the people with their distinctive , dry sense of humour . It was only a 10- to 15-minute bike ride to the beautiful countryside of the Cleveland Hills , Roseberry Topping and Great Ayton . It ’ s an often overlooked part of the countryside but it ’ s gorgeous . I feel lucky to have grown up there .
