tech firm that backed an inaugural category at last year ’ s Tees Tech Awards – which saw the audience decide the winner with a live vote – is proud to back the awards again for 2024 .
Stockton-based Montel EnAppSys – Tech Company of the Year in 2022 – sponsored the Startup category in 2023 , which saw eight businesses ‘ pitch ’ to a live audience in a Dragons ’ Den-style , pre-awards event at Flok Co-working space in Middlesbrough .
Judges then selected a shortlist of three firms who then had 90 seconds to pitch to the audience at the Tech Awards ceremony .
David Dixon ’ s Fireside presentation narrowly edged Dink and The Maestro Online to win the poll on the night .
The Maestro Online , Salvify and Trusted People were the shortlisted candidates for 2024 .

Middlesbrough Council says it ’ s proud to support an awards scheme that showcases our region ’ s “ incredible talent ”.
Invest in Middlesbrough will sponsor the Small Digital Business of the Year category for the 2024 event .
The award has previously been won by Kraken IM , Intasite , Sencode Cyber Security and North Digital .
And this year , CBSocial , TriCore Technical Services and Yellow Box Marketing battle it out for the trophy .
