exclaims . For a charity rooted in the north of England , the leap onto the global stage was unprecedented . Yet , it wasn ’ t just about fashion – it was a celebration of diversity and inclusion . Neurodiversity lies at the heart of the movement , with Daisy Chain ensuring supported opportunities for neurodiverse models to grace the international stage alongside their creations .
Neuthread ’ s success underscores the power of neurodivergent talent , proving that innovation knows no bounds . Today , Neuthread ’ s creations are not just garments – they ’ re symbols of possibility . Available online and at Daisy Chain ’ s Gateshead megastore , each purchase supports its mission of empowerment .
As Daisy Chain continues to redefine the boundaries of charity , one thing is clear : its impact transcends borders , proving that innovation is the ultimate runway to success .
As funding for the two-year pilot project draws to a close on June 30 , Daisy Chain faces a critical juncture . The charity brought forward the Neuthread initiative with this funding , and now , it is seeking support from grants and trusts . However , securing funding in the current climate is challenging , with limited resources
available for innovation projects within the charity sector .
Despite these challenges , Daisy Chain is determined not to let neurodiversity become just another story told at conferences . Instead , it aspires for Neuthread to become a global neurodiversity environmental brand , produced right here in Teesside but with an influence that spans the globe , advocating for the reharvesting of textile waste .
