Security is everywhere you look at a Middlesbrough industrial unit . But it ’ s not just the high-spec surveillance systems that watch your every move when you arrive at Dynamic CCTV – it ’ s inside as well .
For this is the home of one of the UK ’ s leading CCTV , alarm and security service providers – and a quick look around its sprawling warehouse , stocked with £ 15m worth of Hikvision equipment alone , confirms Dynamic ’ s place as a major player in the UK security industry .
It was founded in 1994 with the aim of reducing the high prices charged for CCTV at the time .
Fast forward 30 years and the quest for good value remains – but it ’ s about so much more nowadays .
CCTV remains a core part of the business , of course , supplying marketleading equipment such as Hikvision and AJAX to the trade .
And since February 1 , an industry leader in commercial and domestic security systems , Texecom , has been added to its comprehensive range .
However , it constantly looks to innovate and , for example , has introduced Ruijie Networks – one of the world ’ s leading network solution suppliers – and immersive communications giant MAXHUB to the UK market .
Indeed , MAXHUB screens , with their eye-catching clarity , are proving particularly popular in schools , colleges , education centres and universities .
The range of equipment stocked and supplied by Dynamic across its CCTV , alarm , fire , access and network offerings is staggering , with more than 4,000 products available from the likes of
Hikvision , EZVIZ , AJAX , Honeywell Morley Max , Nittan , C-TEC , Hoy Power , Advanced , Power Sonic , Yuasa , Ventcroft , Penton , Apollo , Fike , Hochiki , CDVI , Ruijie … the list goes on and on .
But a successful firm is about more than hardware – and behind Dynamic CCTV ’ s flourishing operation is an equally dynamic staff , powering the firm on to future success .
With more than 80 staff spread across its Middlesbrough HQ , plus branches in Darlington , Doncaster and a sales / support office in London , good customer service is paramount .
Arrive at its Middlesbrough premises on Riverside Park and you enter a smart “ customer experience centre ” showroom . At 8,000 sq ft , it ’ s the largest offered by any vendor or distributor in the UK , with comfy sofas and a massive hi-tech screen showing the latest available gadgets , tech and Dynamic CCTV developments .
The trade counter has been renovated , too , meaning better service for local installers and the trade .
But it ’ s about people , too , and when dealing with Dynamic CCTV it ’ s all about excellent customer service from the first interaction .
A commitment to continuous staff training remains a top priority , with 10 staff recently passing Firequal training to support Dynamic ’ s growth in the fire market .
Brand and technical ambassadors have also been appointed to offer dedicated support for suppliers ’ products .
And with internal sales staff numbers increasing , its team , says Dynamic , is “ well-trained and ready to serve ,” offering “ robust support for our customer base .”
That support even goes beyond English , with its multilingual approach including support in Ukrainian , Chinese , Yoruba and Arabic !
The support team for the firm ’ s sub-distributor network has doubled , demonstrating a commitment to bolstering partnerships .
There ’ ve also been strategic changes in key senior positions , leaving Dynamic CCTV well-placed to navigate the rapidly evolving CCTV and security landscape .
But there ’ s plenty to look forward to in 2024 , including the industry ’ s flagship showcase , The Security Event , to be held in Birmingham from April 30-May 2 and at which Dynamic CCTV is planning to surpass its benchmark-setting exhibition from 2023 .
During 2024 , the company says to expect more introductions of new brands and expansion into different markets .
And with investment in new and faster systems also ongoing , it ’ s clear that Dynamic UK ’ s year is set to live up to its company name .
