How Sembcorp supports its neighbours to help drive a greener future

Sembcorp aims to take local communities with it on the journey towards a cleaner future . As a leading global provider of sustainable energy solutions , Sembcorp is driving the energy transition to net zero .

At its Wilton International site on Teesside , it supplies energyintensive industrial customers with the development land , energy and utilities they need .
In line with its ethos of supporting the energy transition , Sembcorp has a dedicated community investment strategy , which includes funding projects that support the UN Sustainable Development Goal 7 of Affordable and Clean Energy .
As part of that strategy , it works with communities close to its sites and invests in initiatives that can have a profound impact on people ’ s lives , particularly when they can support cleaner energy use and awareness .
It also supports colleagues ’ charitable activities with match-funded donations to causes close to their hearts and enables its people to volunteer during work hours .
