Coatham is proud to be part of the Teesworks journey

The local passenger transport provider has established itself as a trusted supplier to many of Teesside ’ s global companies , such as Anglo American , SABIC , Sembcorp , ICL and now is proud to boast Wilson James as a new customer .

Wilson James reached out when it needed a transport provider with net zero credentials to help move workers on the SeAH Wind site at Teesworks on behalf of K2 Construction Management as work ramps up .

Coatham regularly facilitates transport for visitors to Teesside to showcase the huge potential we have to offer in our area , but a core part of its business , which is growing in popularity , is in the form of workforce shuttles .
A recent study by DWP cited transport , the ability to get to work , as the single biggest barrier to entry to employment . “ Employers want staff to have a costeffective , reliable and safe journey to work each day and have shown they are willing to provide private services to attract and retain new staff ,” says Mark Hodgson of Coatham .
“ It will be exciting to see how the transport hub around the Teesworks site develops .
“ The key will be to link rail , road and bus services to a hub where people can complete their journeys to work . We would love to part of that journey !
“ We have watched the Teesworks development grow in anticipation and are now excited to be one of many local suppliers working onsite .”
Mark has recently been appointed chair of the Coach Commission for the UK ’ s largest bus and coach trade body and wants any employers across the Tees Valley to engage with him to understand how the bus and coach industry can help improve mobility of workers .
